Michelle McKinna

Michelle McKinna is a dedicated Family Law Legal Secretary at Orbell Family Lawyers, where she brings a deep personal understanding and a passion for family law, stemming from her own experiences. Since transitioning to law after her separation in 2016, Michelle has developed a commitment to supporting clients experiencing separation.

Michelle started her legal career as a receptionist before moving into a Family Law legal secretary role in 2020. Her journey through various positions in the legal field has allowed her to work alongside some of the industry’s most respected lawyers, including a barrister and a judicial registrar.

A natural people person, Michelle finds great satisfaction in her work, particularly in providing comfort and support to clients during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. She is a firm believer in the importance of her role as a source of support, comfort, and understanding for clients, helping them navigate the complexities of property settlements and care arrangements for children with respect, care, and efficiency.

Outside of her professional life, Michelle’s passions include spending quality time with her teenage boys and her Bordoodle, Tyson. She finds joy in laughter with friends, beach walks, sea swims, and regular gym visits.
